The screening type cold ash bucket is a cooling screening equipment that is matched with the rotary furnace equipment. Its main function is to cool down the hot slag after extracting aluminum water from the rotary furnace through water spray heat exchange, and achieve graded screening. It can reduce the burning loss of aluminum slag during the cooling process and effectively improve the recovery rate of aluminum in the aluminum slag.
The screening type cold ash bucket is divided into a cooling bucket and a screening bucket, each with an independent transmission system. The speed of the cooling bucket is 2 revolutions per minute, and it is divided into a cooling zone and a ball milling zone; The speed of the screening bucket is 0-25 revolutions per minute (electromagnetic speed regulation), and there are 3-4 ash discharge ports for fine, medium, and coarse ash.
The cooling method of the screening type cold ash bucket is circulating water spray, and the equipment foundation is a circulating cooling water tank. The cooling water is evenly distributed throughout the cooling bucket body through a water pump and spray water pipe. The hot slag exchanges heat with the cooling water through the bucket body, and the cooling water temperature should not exceed 40 ℃ to ensure the cooling effect of the hot slag. If the amount of hot slag treatment is too large, external circulating water can also be considered.
The hot slag from the rotary furnace is poured into the semi-circular slag hopper and sent into the cold ash bucket mouth by a rotary forklift. It is quickly cooled by spraying cooling water outside the cooling bucket. After cooling, it enters the ball milling area at the back of the cold ash bucket. After ball milling, the coarse blocks are crushed and fine, and the aluminum beads of the fine particles are flattened. Then, through the screening area, the fine ash of 60 mesh grade is screened out (aluminum content<3%), and then the medium particles below 12mm (aluminum content about 20-25%) and the coarse particles above 12mm (aluminum content about 10-15%) are sorted out. If the aluminum slag contains a lot of iron, a magnetic separator can be installed at the coarse particle ash discharge port to select iron substances.
The fine, medium, and coarse particles filtered out by the screening type cold ash bucket can be processed as needed. The fine ash has a low aluminum content and can be directly taken out for processing. The medium ash and the coarse ash after iron removal can be re added to the rotary furnace for both cooling and secondary refining. Matching with the rotary furnace for cyclic operation can improve the recovery rate of aluminum slag, and the economic benefits are very significant.
The LHT series screening type cold ash bucket is divided into three series according to the diameter of the bucket body: LHT1200mm/1600mm/1900mm. Each series is further divided into 8M/11M/13M/15/M/17M according to the length of the equipment. The selection is based on the tonnage, quantity, and workshop layout of the supporting rotary furnace. Such as LHT-1200-8M, LHT-1600-15M, LHT-1900-17M, etc.
